Sailing to the Caribbean
November offers a rare and exciting opportunity for an Atlantic Crossing to the Caribbean, with ideal winds and temperatures for an unforgettable sailing adventure.
Trade Winds:
As the hurricane season winds down, the trade winds in November begin to strengthen. These winds, blowing from the east-northeast, create consistent and reliable sailing conditions, making this the perfect time to journey from the east to the Caribbean. Based on real-time weather conditions, we’ll adapt our route to ensure the best possible sailing experience.
The Barefoot Route:
This crossing is often referred to as the Barefoot Route, named for the generally relaxed and easy sailing conditions which can be expected along the way. Enjoy the simplicity and freedom of life at sea as you make your way toward the warm, welcoming shores of the Caribbean.

Details
A typical Day

A typical day in the Atlantic Crossing starts off with a swim in 26 degree crystal clear, warm water at our berth. In addition to that you can partake in a morning yoga session on the bow of the Catamaran while the crew prepares breakfast.
After breakfast we start into our first kitesurf session of the day. Depending on which spot we choose, our instructors will help you launch the kites from the boat or you will be shuttled to the beach in our small dinghy for setting up your kites. Our experienced coaches will keep an eye on you throughout each of your sessions to keep you safe and ensure that it’s a fun session.
At noon we set sail and while you peacefully enjoy a boosting snack on board, we are heading to our next anchorage point and kite spot. Depending on your motivation you can either have a second kite session or explore the island by yourself or with one of our guides.
At sunset we usually meet with everyone on board to end the day with a sundowner drink on deck and start our evening.
We then either go ashore to find a nice restaurant or a fisherman’s hut for dinner, or alternatively we all cook together on board and organize a small, private ‘rum tasting’ before we hitting the hay.

Living on a Yacht vs. in a Hotel on shore

Imagine waking up each morning to the gentle sway of the ocean, the sound of waves lapping against the hull, and the sight of a breathtaking sunrise over an endless horizon. This is the reality of living onboard a sailing catamaran for your vacation—a reality that offers a level of relaxation and disconnection from the daily grind that is unparalleled by any shore-based holiday. A sailing catamaran serves as your private, floating oasis, far removed from the hustle and bustle of crowded beaches and tourist hotspots. The spacious decks and cabins provide a sense of freedom and privacy, allowing you to unwind and savor each moment.
Living on a catamaran immerses you in the natural world like never before. Each day, we anchor in the best Kitesurfing and wingfoil spots you can imagine, swim in crystal-clear waters, and explore pristine beaches that are often inaccessible from the shore. The sights, sounds, and smells of the sea become a constant backdrop, helping you reconnect with nature and appreciate its simple, yet profound beauty.
One of the greatest benefits of living onboard a catamaran is the opportunity to truly unplug. With limited access to the internet and a lack of constant digital distractions, you can disconnect from the demands of daily life. This digital detox allows you to focus on the present moment, enjoy the company of likeminded people and focus on whats truly important.
